Comfortaire beds are air controlled
for comfort and support. They are designed to allow for
individual comfort control - a feature not found in most other
mattresses.
Not
for floating in a pool
The common 'inflatable' mattress widely used for camping or
floating in the surf is not an air support sleep system.
Ordinary air mattresses are usually made of vinyl and designed
for temporary use. They're inexpensive because they are not made
for everyday use. Over time they crack and begin to leak.
No
springs required.
The most commonly manufactured mattress is innerspring. These
mattresses are made for everyday use and constructed for
long-term durability. Innersprings are designed to flex with the
contours of a person's body as best as possible. However,
because innersprings are made of steel coil configurations, they
cannot fully conform to a person's body. And while they are long
lasting, innersprings begin to break down from the very first
day, sagging more and more as time goes by and failing to
provide consistent comfort and support.
Air
supported sleep
By having air as the supporting feature, the sleeper is given
the opportunity of adjusting his or her mattress from a very
firm level all the way to a feather soft level - for each side
of the mattress. This is accomplished with the simple touch of a
button. In addition, Comfortaire beds use a highly advanced air
chamber system. These chambers ensure support and eliminate the
likelihood of air leaks. Because Comfortaire uses durable and
dependable materials, the air chambers will not crack or break
down like ordinary vinyl mattresses.
The Comfortaire sleep
system actually conforms to your body. Pressure points are
relieved, you toss and turn less, and sleep more soundly whether
you are a back or side sleeper. Air supported sleep lets your
body properly relax and gives the support that will allow you to
breathe more easily. |
